What People Are Saying
“My compliments to the actors, directors, and tech crew for your One Act performances. What amazing talent that came together to evoke feelings of happiness, sadness, and resolve. I was moved from laughter to tears to peace. A special compliment to the person who chose the order of the shows. It was a successful progression of emotion that may not have worked if they were in a different order. You took me from laughter with a bit of empathy for the poor soul who was used to a quiet, sweet, budding romance that was certain to grow into a forever kind of love. Then you moved me into a riveting relationship between a daughter and a mother (times 2) that was forever changed as they took to heart the words of grandma’s diary and came to understand her as a person, not just another family member. Finally, you allowed me to feel the whole gamut of emotions within one play written by someone who obviously has suffered much grief and knows that grief is different depending on the relationship with the one who passed. It was funny, sad, angry, but in the end left me with a feeling of contentment knowing that when we accept each other just as we are, we can find common ground in our differences. Thank you for taking me and the whole audience on this journey. I’m hoping I can work it into my schedule to come see the performances again. ”

“At the most recent show, I tested out the audio assistance device. I have severe hearing loss and have resigned myself to hearing only about 25% of the dialogue. At this show, i could hear 80-90%”

“Go to see these shows this weekend if you at all can. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing the production twice now, and it is very worthwhile. As a director myself, I was impressed with the direction of all four shows. Well done. And the acting is great. It’s awesome to see some new faces on the TDM stage. Make sure to stay after intermission (as if you wouldn’t). The first plays present some humor, romance, and poignancy. The final show, post-intermission really blew me away. The script, directing, and acting all really phenomenal. Not to be missed.”
